You Can Make Friends ANYWHERE!!!
Note: I have not been asked to endorse this website. I am expressing opinions about this website on my own free will.
I have been using this website for almost a year, and it's called Interpals. Basically, you can meet people from all over the world and make snail mail pen pals (writing letters), email pen pals, and learn different languages from people who know and speak the language. I have met my 5 snail mail pen pals on this site: one from Canada, England, Czech Republic, and 2 from here in the United States.
I think that being able to have a pen pal is amazing to have; you learn more about different cultures and it's interesting. I have a lot of fun writing letters and sending my pen pals random stuff from here in America.
A lot of people have been asking me about it and thought I should tell you where I found my pen pals. Give it a try if you're interested.

Gossip is... Useless.
Exodus 23:1 (MSG)
"Dont pass on malicious gossip. Don't link up with a wicked person and give corrupt testimony."
Everyday, I go to school and hear some sort of gossip, and going to school where there's about 200 people in the entire high school, gossip goes around like wildfire.
No matter where you live or go to school at, you're always exposed to some sort of gossip, even on the television. You think it's not gossip when we watch TMZ or The Insider and we hear a rumor about celebrities? It's still gossip being spread.
I know we all spread rumors when we hear them, whether you mean to or not. I know I do it from time to time.
Here's the thing though: God does not like gossip. With gossip, you're getting information from a different and unreliable source. Someone may actually stretch the truth and make it seem far from what happened or what it really is. It's hurtful for that person who the rumor is about, but also causes confusion.
Proverbs 18:8 (MSG)
"Listening to gossip is like eating cheap candy; do you really want junk like that in your belly?"
Do you really want to be exposed to malicious gossip? Well, of course we don't.
With the world the way it is right now, we're always exposed to gossip in one way or another. What do you do about it? You can't stop gossiping from happening, but you can always do this:
-If someone is gossiping, let them know (nicely, of course) that it isn't really polite to be talking about others like that, and ask them to stop.
-Ignore the gossip. If you ignore it, you can't spread it.
-Go talk to that person who the gossip is about. You'll get the best results going to the source, and they'll know what is going around.
Ephesians 5:4 (MSG)
"Though some tongues just love the taste of gossip, those who follow Jesus have better use for language like that. Don't talk dirty or silly. That kind of talk doesn't fit our style. Thanksgiving is our dialect."
God wants us to love each other, and to spread that love towards one another. If we spread gossip instead of love, then are we really doing what God wants? Let's not spread hate.
Heavenly Father,
We know you do not like gossip, and how hurtful and malicious it is. I ask that you forgive us, for all who have spread or even started gossip recently, and that we have the wisdom to think before we say, so that it is not hurtful for anyone, or even ourselves.

OMG! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BLOG?
Before you all freak out, I should let you know that I made some changes to my blog.
The address/URL, name, and everything is still the same, but, as you can see, I changed the background and layout a bit.
Here's what was happening:
The background (remember how it was pink?) was really annoying me because I want ANYONE to be able to come to my blog and read it. But, of course, a guy is not gonna be very interested if my background is pink. So I changed it to a blue sky. I like the look of a blue sky with a bit of clouds in it. So yeah... there's the new background. Lol.
The layout was starting to annoy me because the home page was so long with all my posts and how long they are, so I was able to fix that so the page isn't so big. It's also because my computer (and my ipod touch) is really slow when loading my actual blog, so limiting the number of pages I had at a time helped a lot.
I also added some Reactions for each post. So if you liked my posts, thought they were boring, I wanna know what you think. So if you happen to read one of my posts, click on a reaction so I know what I can do to make my blog better.
Also, on the top right side, I added a list of different blogs I am following, and it would be awesome if you checked them out and give those people some love. They are great bloggers!

God Loves How We Look
1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV)
"The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
I personally love this verse so much. The reason I love it is because when I feel like I'm not pretty enough or need to change something to make myself look more attractive, I can come back to this verse and remember that God loves me for who I am, and not what I look like.
Usually I would ask a couple questions to think about. Today, I wanna ask and have you really think about these questions:
1. Have you ever (in your lifetime or recently) looked in a mirror and felt disgusted with how you look?
2. Have you ever wished you could change something about your physical appearance?
3. Do you take criticism seriously when it comes to how you look?
Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, can relate and say yes to all of these questions. Even I am guilty of it. You may feel like you need to lose a lot of weight, or you have horrible acne. People might've made fun of the clothes you wear, or a new hair color you're trying out. No matter what it is, we all know that it hurts when you receive those nasty comments.
Here's some good news: God loves you, no matter what you look like. God created us all differently; we all have flaws. Why are we making a huge deal of our appearance when we should be focusing on living for God?
James 1:23 (NIV)
"Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror."
If you are someone who focuses more on your appearance other than following God, then I encourage you think about what is more important in your life. God honestly does not care about what you look like, for it's your personality and where your heart is that matters more.

"Fear-of-God will be all his joy and delight. He won't judge by appearances, won't decide on the basis of hearsay."
1 Peter 3:3-4 (MSG)
"What matters is not your outer appearance - the styling of your hair, the jewelry you wear, the cut of your clothes - but your inner disposition. Cultivate inner beauty, the gentle, gracious kind that God delights in."
Heavenly Father,
I thank you for making us all unique. I thank you for all our flaws that make us all different from everyone else. Lord, I know we sometimes get so caught up in the trends and how we have to look, but we know that you love us no matter what, and no one can tell us otherwise. Lord, please show the ones who are stuck on outward appearance that there is more to life than worrying about that, and lead them closer to you.

Are We Being Good Examples For God?
In Job 36:24, it says:
"Remember to extol his work, which people have praised in song."
I remember when I didn't read my Bible as much as I should have. Throughout my life, there was a Bible in our house where I could've read it at anytime, but I chose not to because it seemed like too much reading for me.
But now I pick up my Bible everyday. And each time, I thank God for this wonderful book that was written to teach us, guide us, and lead us towards God.
Unfortunately, many people (including Christians), do not pick up and read the Bible anymore.
Sometimes, instead of reading the Bible, they study other Christians around them to get to know God's Word, kind of like a 'walking Bible'.
If someone is using us as an example of how we should be living for God, what are we doing now to show our devotion for God? Are we really living how God wants us and has planned for us?
We are being judged every single day of our lives. If we're judged as faithful Christians, what are some things we should be doing to show that? Sure, we believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead, but how do others know the love and greatness of Christ? Even Paul said in Philippians that "your attitude should be the same of that of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 2:5).
Just like in a book where you may see recommendations for different authors and books to read, we are recommendations on how we should be living for God. We need to be the best examples we can be.
How are you living for God? What are some things you can change about your life to be a better follower of Christ?
"Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires."
Romans 8:5

I pray for those who do not know you or do not know you well. I pray, Lord, that we can use your Word to bring these people closer to you, and for those who do know you to be good examples on how we should, and need, to be living for you. A Late Night Post...
It's around midnight right now, and I'm enjoying Doritos and chili cheese dip. It's really good! LOL.
My birthday is on Monday (Oct. 25), and I'm so excited that I'm turning 17!!! I feel old.. nah, just kidding!
I have so much going on that I didn't get to write a post in a while. The Bushman World Ukulele Video Contest is coming up, and I have no idea what 3 songs I wanna do. LOL, it's driving me crazy!! And I want to win... SOOOOO BADLY!! =P
Another big thing that's going on... as some of you may know, I have a gap in my front teeth. Well.... on Tuesday I'm getting them FIXED!!! I've been waiting for this for a long time! I can't wait!
Getting ready for cheer is crazy! My friend Raine went over some stretches and jumps I gotta do for cheer, and my legs hurt already! But I'm excited to get going into the season, then it will be easier. =D
God is doing some incredible things in my life! With getting ready for a ukulele contest, my teeth getting fixed, my birthday, preparing for cheer, and getting straight A's in school, I honestly don't know how it can get any better! I have the best family in the world, the greatest friends ever, and a Savior who loves me and is guiding me to bigger and better things. I am even blessed with the best penpals ever who I write to.
I'm trying to get more posts done whenever I have time.
My new favorite poem: "How Doth the Little Crocodile" by Lewis Carroll.
Yeah, I had to add a little random fact there.
In AP Literature, we've been doing a lot of poetry, and I mean A LOT!!! We were learning about ballads and I thought of that poem. =D

A Brief Post...
Happy Tuesday!
Well at least I didn't think today was Thursday!
Don't know what I'm talking about? Read my last post. LOL
Kimmy had her volleyball game today. I'm hoping that the team does good.
I remember my ukulele and guitar from my english class! They were right where I left them. So I was pretty happy about that.
I read over some Scripture last night. I'm hoping to get a good blog post done tomorrow, and write it up tonight. You'll have to wait and see on what it's about. =P
It's sunny outside, and Subway sandwiches sound amazing at the moment. My spaghetti I made last night was good too! I love Italian food!
Speaking of Italians, we have an Italian foreign exchange student at my school. She's pretty awesome!
But anyways...
I LOVE YOU ALL!!

WHOA!
Today I thought it was Wednesday.
I will admit, it was pretty weird, because Mondays are my late-start days for school, so we start at 9:30 instead of 8:30 in the mornings. So I woke up wondering why my alarm clock said it was 8:35 am.
Then I realized that it was, in fact, a Monday and I woke up on time. =P
What an interesting way to start off the week, huh?
During my PE class, I wrote a poem.
This poem wasn't really a happy poem either.
You know when you have those times when you just don't feel happy, and instead of letting it out on someone, you write it down? Yeah, I had that today, so it was pretty depressing.
I get home from school and read it over again. And at that time I was feeling much better, changed a bit of it, and made it not-so-depressing. About 10 minutes after that, it turned into a song.
So, I guess I didn't write a poem today after all. LOL.
Last week I brought my ukulele and guitar to school to work on songs and play a bit.
I planned on bringing them home today, and I ended up forgetting them in my 6th period english class. So now they're probably sitting there in the classroom...
Kimmy just came home from practice, and now I gotta make spaghetti.
I have an idea for a blog topic I wanna do. I'll probably go over some Scripture tonight and start writing it. I love to write. But I bet you already knew that. =D

Homecoming Week
My school had their homecoming week from September 30 - October 1, and it sure was interesting.
I'm kinda glad that it's over already. I mean, I can move on with other things, getting through the quarter, get ready for my 17th birthday this month, and getting in shape for cheerleading coming up next month. WOW! How crazy!

September..
Dealing with school, homecoming week, homecoming dance, dealing with people, homework, weird teachers, stress, sports, annoyance...
I think you get that I'm back at school, and that's why I haven't written a blog in over a month.
But here I am again. Yay! =)
Being a junior in high school definitely has some pros and cons. The pros: being with my junior class to get ready for homecoming, working on lip syncs (huge part of spirit week at my school), and decorating our hallway in an awesome desert theme. not to mention, planning prom throughout the year, and getting ready for my senior year. The cons: the harder classes (AP Literature/Composition for example), the teachers pushing you harder because they expect more out of us, the freshman (and even the sophomores) IRRITATING the heck out of us, and trying to figure out what we wanna do with our lives along the way.
I mean, junior year isn't horrible. I'm enjoying my junior year so far than I had my freshman and sophomore year. I'm over half way done with school, and I mind as well make the best of it.
Over the last couple weeks, I was going over what I was really doing for my school to show school spirit and get involved. I joined the volleyball team my freshman year, but wasn't as committed to it like I used to in middle school, and I did the talent show. What else?
Exactly my point.. I hardly did any sports (though I wanted to), and I'm not in any clubs. The only club I'm in right now is pep club, but that's not a big, huge thing like FCCLA or FFA.
I wanted to try something new, and so I made the decision of trying cheerleading for basketball season this winter. Sure, I didn't start my freshman year like everyone else did, but what's wrong with trying something new? I may like it.
What else can I do? Not sure yet, but God is leading me to some incredible opportunities, and I can't wait to find out what else is in store for me. Who knows... only God knows.
Homecoming is coming up on Friday.. and I'm soooo excited for it. Who cares if I don't have a date this year? I'm gonna have a lot of fun and enjoy the night with my friends this year.
I think I'm gonna go for a jog tonight.. IDK...

Crazy...
My summer vacation.
I will admit, it wasn't the most exciting. I didn't go on a vacation, I didn't go to the beach. I went to the lake only 3 times this year. And we've been having cooler weather lately.
But, I got my drivers license this summer. I met some new people through youth group. I auditioned for Spokane's Got Talent. I learned more about myself than I have in a long time.
A year ago, I wouldn't have a clue just what it was I wanted in life, and just lived my life "one day at a time" and see where it would take me. Today, I have goals, I have dreams, and I have a plan on how I'm gonna get there. I found the college I wanna go to after I graduate. I know what I wanna use my time in school for. I know what I need to do during my junior and senior years left in high school to get me to that college. A year ago, I wouldn't have a clue.
I also found out that I love to read books, just never found the genre of books that I like. I officially love Nicholas Sparks' work as an author. I realized that classical piano music isn't that bad.
I start school in less than a week, which means a new year equals new changes. In ways, I'm nervous for what the new year will bring for me, but in other ways, I'm also excited. God has a plan for me, and I'm ready for it.

I will admit, it wasn't the most exciting. I didn't go on a vacation, I didn't go to the beach. I went to the lake only 3 times this year. And we've been having cooler weather lately.
But, I got my drivers license this summer. I met some new people through youth group. I auditioned for Spokane's Got Talent. I learned more about myself than I have in a long time.
A year ago, I wouldn't have a clue just what it was I wanted in life, and just lived my life "one day at a time" and see where it would take me. Today, I have goals, I have dreams, and I have a plan on how I'm gonna get there. I found the college I wanna go to after I graduate. I know what I wanna use my time in school for. I know what I need to do during my junior and senior years left in high school to get me to that college. A year ago, I wouldn't have a clue.
I also found out that I love to read books, just never found the genre of books that I like. I officially love Nicholas Sparks' work as an author. I realized that classical piano music isn't that bad.
I start school in less than a week, which means a new year equals new changes. In ways, I'm nervous for what the new year will bring for me, but in other ways, I'm also excited. God has a plan for me, and I'm ready for it.
Wow, how crazy.. I guess my summer wasn't all that bad. =)

Tell Them Thanks!
Yesterday, I was online, and one of my friends on Facebook was posting status updates about her sending care packages and letters to U.S soldiers who are overseas. I wanted a "penpal" of some sort for a while cause I like to write to people of different places, and I think writing a full letter means more than a plain email. So I did some research, and found a website called Tell Them Thanks. What they do is you fill out an application and they will send you via email, an address to a soldier that you can write to and send care packages to. It doesn't take long either. They require you to send a letter once a month, and let them know when you sent out a letter to make sure that soldiers are receiveing mail. It's really simple. If not, they will reassign that soldier to someone else. I started yesterday and "adopted" my soldier who is stationed in Iraq (at first, I thought she was in Afghanistan, but did some more research and found out she was in Iraq). I'm sooo excited because not only did I get a "penpal", but she's also a soldier fighting for our freedom and liberty, which makes it even better.
If you want a penpal of some sort, I highly ENCOURAGE "adopting" a U.S soldier. It shows your support and it helps them know that they are loved and missed back home.

Spokane's Got Talent!!
On Saturday, August 7th, I completed my audition for Spokane's Got Talent in Spokane, WA.
I sang "Falling For You" by Colbie Caillat, and I must say that I had a blast performing.
I should be getting a callback on whether I made it to the Top 20 Finals this next week. I'm praying that it all goes well, and I'm asking for your prayers as well.

What Do You Wanna Do Before You Die?
If you have ever watched MTV's "The Buried Life", you would know that the show is about 4 guys who travel across America to achieve everything on their list "100 Things To Do Before I Die". Some of the things include asking Megan Fox to go on a date, playing basketball with President Obama; while on the road, they help other people who have a wish they want to come true before they die. I'm not sure what happened to the show but I guess they stopped making episodes, which is a shame.
So my question for YOU is what the title of this post is: What do you wanna do before you die?
Your list may contain many things, some serious or some just plain nonsense.
I'm making a new page on this blog, and it's gonna be a little different. Instead of things I wanna do before I die, I'm gonna make the goal to achieve all these things before I graduate high school. I'm gonna be a junior this year so I will have about 2 years, and I will keep track on my progress on my blog. You will find the page where my "About Me" and "Contact Me" tabs are at the top of the blog. It is called "Before I Graduate...". A lot of these are gonna be serious, but some are gonna be funny as well.
If you have a list of what you wanna do, or there is something you wanna do, go out and achieve it. The only thing that is stopping you from doing it is yourself.

UH OH!!! WATCH OUT!!! SAMMYJANE IS ON THE ROAD!!!
Haha I just got my drivers license today!!!!!!
I'm officially legal to drive and I must say that it feels good to take on more responsibilites like driving a car.
I'm officially legal to drive and I must say that it feels good to take on more responsibilites like driving a car. But I also know that having some of those big responsibilities is a lot of hard work..
I know God is right by my side to guide me and make sure that I don't fall back on what I'm suppose to do, and that he will protect me from getting into any bad situation that can harm myself or another person while on the road.
Before I took my test, I said a prayer to keep me safe while driving and keep everyone safe as they were also on the road. I made it, and I passed.
God does have the power to do such amazing things, even when you don't realize it. =)
Please, EVERYONE!!! Be safe while driving anywhere. There are a lot of crazy drivers out there and it's not worth your life or someone else's life if you get in an accident or get distracted. Don't text, drink, or create distractions while driving.

Someday He'll Come..
Have you ever wondered what it's gonna be like when you're in love?
Honestly, I don't know if I've ever been in love in my life.
Sometimes we're gonna find someone we really like, and we're gonna think it's not some silly crush, but maybe love.
But in reality, who knows if it really is love. We try to define love but we can't, because everyone experiences it differently.
You may sometimes look in magazines and find articles that may tell you if it's really love or not. Are you seriously gonna consider whether you found your true love over an ARTICLE?? Who knows if that's even acurate!
The way to knowing if you found your true love and the one you wanna be with for the rest of your life is to listen to your heart. It's one of those things that nobody can tell you whether it is love or not, that a magazine article can't tell you. The only ones who know is your heart, and God, which is linked together.
I know that someday, God is gonna lead me and my future husband together. Until then, I just gotta keep praying for him, and he'll come around.
When you find someone you really like, don't get too attached so easily until you know that it's meant to be. Don't get into something serious too soon. Many people are making that mistake and it's leading to some terrible heartaches.

Who Knew A MOVIE Could Change My Whole Perspective!
So, who remembers the 2004 Mel Gibson movie "Passion of the Christ" that caused so much controversy about it being too graphic?This movie is probably the most powerful, graphic, gory, emotional, true movie ever made.
The "Passion Of The Christ" is almost close to 3 hours long, and it tells of how Jesus Christ was crucified and rose again based on what is told in the Bible. And I got a chance to watch it (for my second time) at youth group last night.
The first time I watched it was in 2004 when it came out, and when I watched it I didn't quite understand it. I was a little younger (forunately, I didn't get nightmares, nor was I really scared of the graphics. haha), and I didn't really know much about Jesus and about his life story. So it didn't really have a huge impact on me.
I watched it last night at my youth group, and it all started coming together. I have been a faithful Christian for a year and it was so powerful for me. All of the things I read in the New Testament about Jesus' life and crucifixion all just come together like a puzzle.
My experience was this: I watched the movie, not a tear or anything throughtout the whole movie, I just stared at the screen the whole time. My stomach got sick from the graphics, sometimes I would feel a slight pain running through my whole body. The rest of the time, my body was numb.
Right when the credits came on, the tears came out.. It took me a moment to just process what I just watched. It was one of those things that took me a long time to fully understand, and now I do.. Everywhere I looked, someone was crying, praying alone or in groups.. it was definitely a powerful night.
Jesus went through all of that pain and persecution for us! He DIED on that cross for us, for you and for me!

Are You Addicted To Jesus?
What does it mean to be addicted to Jesus Christ?
According to the Webster's Online Dictionary, the word "addict" is someone who is so ardently devoted to something that it resembles an addiction.
An addiction is the state of being addicted; devotion; inclination.
Some people may have an addiction to many things, such as cigarettes, drugs, alcohol, pornography, video games; when we think about the word "addiction", we mostly think of it as a negative thing, right? It doesn't have to be a bad thing.
If we have an addiction to Jesus, then is that a bad thing? Of course not!
If you are addicted to Jesus, what does it really mean?
If you look at the definition of the word "addict" above, doesn't it mean to me "ardently devoted" to Jesus?
What are you doing to be devoted to Jesus? Most of us Christians would probably be going to church every Sunday, maybe a youth group on Wednesday (of whenever you have youth group), maybe joining a Bible study. Some may be involved with the church or volunteers to help others in need in the community.
Maybe you're not that involved with the church or the community, but treats everyone with respect and tries to be the best person you can be. You're faithful, honest, trustworthy, and an all-around good person.
Paul wrote in Phillipians 2:1-11:
"If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort of his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition and vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitide should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
"Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death - even death on a cross! Therefore, God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Paul is telling us that we should be like Jesus; to be humble and show compassion, tenderness, and concern for others; to be selfless and love one another.
Think about the verses; what are you doing to be devotional to Christ?

True Love Waits
On Sunday, July 25 of 2010, I received my purity ring.
In a world where sex is considered more "recreational" and not really taken seriously, I felt that the purity ring was a great idea. There were 7 of us girls that took the pledge, including my sister. It was a pledge, whether we already messed up or not, to remain pure from sexual temptations from here on out, and to save our bodies for our future husbands and for God.
We were explained at the ceremony that the ring doesn't hold any special power to help us remain pure, but as a reminder of our promise and pledge that we made, and that what we're doing is not for us, but for God.
Sometimes I wished I would have done this sooner, but in the end, it doesn't matter cause I made the promise during a great time in my life. The pledge made me excited for what's gonna happen in the future, with my music, my family, and when I find that one special person that would be my husband. God has soooo much in store for me, and for all 7 of us beautiful girls. It's up to us now, not only to keep our bodies pure, but our minds as well. We know it's gonna get tough as we live each day, but with Jesus on our side, it's not impossible.
I encourage everyone who has not made the pledge for purity to do so. Coming from me, it was one of the best decisions I will ever make, especially living in a sex-saturated society. Whether you made some mistakes or not, you can still start over.
“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” -Colossians 3:1-4

If You Could Go Back In Time, Would You?
I remember when I was probably not even 10 years old yet, and several of my childhood friends were with me and my little sister in the woods while our dads were cutting firewood. It was the middle of winter, but it was one of those mild winters where we didn't have much snow (which is still weird living in Washington State). We went off and before we knew it, we were gathering big tree branches and sticks and stacked them, sort of like an indian teepee, using other big trees for support. And we continued to make what became a fairly small fort, using pine needles and small sticks as a roof and filling in the cracks of the walls. I must say, when we finished, we were pretty proud of it. We even had a group picture of all of us kids (it's somewhere in my house) inside the fort. That is one childhood memory I will never forget.
Now, I think everyone has probably came across this question in a survey, or was just asked it randomly: If you could go back in time and change one thing from your childhood, what would you change?
Most of you will probably say yes.
Before you make your final answer, I want you to think of where your life is at right now, whether it's good or bad.
Now think about a childhood memory that you wish you could go back and change; If you could go back to that time, what would you do to change it?
Now, imagine what you're life would be like if that change was made. Think about the good your life would be, as well as the bad. What would happen to your boyfriend or girlfriend? Your parents? Your brothers or sisters? Where would you be at? What would your household be like?
If you have seen the Christmas movie "It's A Wonderful Life", George wishes he was never born (of course this is a different example). With the help of Clarence, his guardian angel, he actually got to see what his life would be without him, and he wishes he was back with his family, and realizes that his life is truely great, even when things get bad. When he finally returns to his old life, he began to appreciate his life more and what's in store for him and his family in the future.
It says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
The old is gone, and the new is coming... there is no way of changing the past.
Back to the question.
Think about it, where would you be at if you decided to change one part of your childhood? You probably won't like it, huh?
We're all gonna go through some tough times in our lives. But know this: those little moments you wish you could change, it makes you the person you are today.
And what about those moments you don't wanna change? Change one memory, and everything else will change.
I know I never wanna forget or change the tree fort memory. It's one of those I'll remember for the rest of my life. Why would I wanna change anything else about my life? Especially when those moments are over?
The old is gone and the new is coming: Let's embrace it and make it the best we can make it.

Are You Feeling Blue?
Here's a question: Have you ever had one of those days when you did something completely stupid?
I'm sure everyone has. (if not, think again..)
Another question: Have you ever spent hours, or days, or even months thinking about that stupid thing you did? Thinking about what you could've done in the past, or beating yourself (not literally) about it and it makes you feel pretty down?
Being a teenager in modern society we live in today, I can definitely understand how that feels. I've been through my ups and downs in life.
Sometimes we do spend a lot of time thinking about that dumb mistake that should've never happened. But what can we do about it? We can't just go back in time in some time machine and fix it, or prevent it from happening. Because really; Stick to reality, that's impossible. Once it's over, it's over; you can't turn back.
But what can we do to move on?
During your lifetime (including mine), we are all gonna make mistakes. There is no way to prevent that; it is our human nature to make mistakes and learn from them. What would we be like if there were no mistakes made? We wouldn't learn anything... we would be living our lives the same exact way, every single day.. is that what we want? To live like robots our lives? I sure wouldn't!
A lot of people that I knew (and reading on the Internet), would say, "Why would God cause me to be so sad?" or "If God was real, he wouldn't let me be this depressed."
Now, if I remember right, God doesn't want us to be sad or depressed, but to live happily on this place He created for us. God would never cause us to be sad, depressed, or pessimistic in any way. So really, isn't it your own actions that cause you to be feeling down?
In Matthew 5:12, it says "Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
So back to the question, What can we do to move on?
Whenever you contemplate on whatever is bothering you, remember this: God wants you to be happy and live joyously; why be so depressed? Whatever it is, it's all in the past, and every minute that you're worrying about it is one minute that you're losing to make your life better. You can't change the past, so take what you learned from it and use it as a tool to make your life, and maybe someone else's life, better.
God has so much in store for you and me. Continue to pray and follow God, and he will bring greatness into your life.

I wrote this several months ago and it's been posted on ReliJournal. And I was looking at it again and decided to share it with you.
10 Great Things About Life We Don't Usually Think About:
1. My family loves me and supports me on everything.
2. My friends accept me and take me for who I am.
3. The new year gives me a jump start to change my old habits; to break the bad ones and create new ones.
4. I tend to make mistakes, but I learn from them as I live my life.
5. I’m comfortable with my body. Everyone has their flaws, and that is what makes us each unique.
6. We are all different; if we were all the same, we would be robots.
7. There is no one in this world that is better than others. The only one that is better than all is Jesus Christ.
8. God gave us life to make it the way we wanna live it.
9. It’s never too late to come to the Lord.
10. I love my life, even when I have my horrible days. Each day brings a whole new adventure.

I wanna kinda explain the point of this blog.
I write, a lot, and I have a lot of things running through my head that I wish I can share. I wrote a few blogs before but I didn't make it for what I wanted. So yes, I have some blogging experiences. \
